The Royal Guard invites you to take part in a historical adventure, as an integral part of which our café offers a culinary sensation. Even beyond the excellent food, we treat our cherished guests as friends, and strive to convey the "royal" atmosphere of the location.
This philosophy is also present at the events we organise. The guests at these events can enjoy our best-loved dishes and share in the culinary experience that the café provides.
Among other things, they can try crispy pork knuckles skewered on a sword, or an excellent Emperor’s Mess that we offer in “Budapest” and “Vienna” style.
Our chef is a fervent believer in quality ingredients that come from the Carpathian Basin. Most of our ingredients are provided by local farmers and producers, and we accept nothing else than the very best.
